Chief of Staff Philippine Army (CSPA) Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong received New Zealand Non-Resident Defense Attaché Col. Paul Michael Dragicevich who rendered a courtesy call at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on May 18, 2022.
Maj. Gen. Capulong, who represented Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., and Col. Dragicevich discussed the possibility of conducting bilateral engagements involving the Army of the Philippines and New Zealand on leadership and management, personnel development, and cyberspace domain. Col. Dragicevich is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
The PA, based on its medium-term engagement plan with the New Zealand Army, shall focus its engagements in military training and education; strengthen collaboration in technology transfers; intelligence; and, information exchanges.
The CSPA also opened up the possibility of tapping the New Zealand Army for the development of a PA warrant officer program and training for further professional development of senior non-commissioned officers.
