Army holds workshop to update vision and strategy map

The Army Governance and Strategy Management Office (AGSMO) held a three-day symposium aimed at reviewing the organization’s vision statement, strategy map and enterprise balanced scorecard at the First Pacific Leadership Academy, Antipolo City, Rizal last May 17 to 19, 2022.

“My full support is with you during the course of this Strategy Translation Workshop. The future of our organization is in your minds. I trust that we will bring out the best as we work towards a world-class Army that is a source of national pride,” 2nd Infantry "Jungle Fighter" Division Commander Maj. Gen. Rowen S. Tolentino said in his keynote address.

The three-day event is one of the Philippine Army's performance review and assessment mechanisms to ensure that concerns relating to the Army's vision are resolved and executed.

”We have to brace up. Be ready to surmount every challenge that may come along the way. We have to join hands and be interdependent instead of being independent. We have to work together to realize our vision of becoming a world-class Army,” AGSMO Chief Col. Rodrigo P. Magallanes said in his remarks.
The ATR is a 18-year, transformation and governance program that is geared at transforming the Army into a world-class organization that is a source of national pride by 2028.
