6SFB extends assistance to 35 LTG surrenderees

In collaboration with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), the 6th Special Forces Battalion (6SFB) grants livelihood assistance to 35 former Local Terrorist Group (LTG) members last May 20, 2022 at Brgy. Taglibi, Patikul, Sulu.

The government through the Municipal Task Force to End Local Armed Conflict (MTF-ELAC) of Patikul is proactive in addressing the peace and order issue in the area through a more holistic, comprehensive and sustainable programs that will be beneficial to its citizen. Their project also includes reintegration program for the former LTG members as they go back to the mainstream society and live their normal life.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., commended the 6SFB which is under the operational control of 1103rd Infantry Brigade for their extra effort to facilitate the provision of livelihood assistance to the former LTG member in collaboration with the different government offices and agencies in the area.
