Army Support Command delivers 36 mobility assets for 4th Infantry Division, 55th Engineer Brigade

The 10th Forward Service Support Unit, Army Support Command (ASCOM) delivered 36 mobility assets from Camp General Arturo Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) in Cagayan de Oro City and the 55th Engineer Brigade (55EBde) in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte from May 19 to 21, 2022.

Among the delivered mobility assets include trucks and medium and light troop carriers as well as vehicle tools and accessories. The delivery and turnover of said vehicles will bolster 4ID and 55EBde in fulfilling a multitude of combat and non-combat missions.

ASCOM is tasked to cater Philippine Army major units’ requirements in terms of firepower, transportation, organizational, and maintenance of equipment in support to the accomplishment of the Army’s missions.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., in his command guidance “SERVE,” has vowed to push down resources to all ground forces to further capacitate them in mission-accomplishment.
