CGPA highlights need to strengthen Army reserve force

Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., highlighted the need to strengthen the Army’s reserve force in his visit to the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA) Headquarters, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite on May 27, 2022.
 
Lt. Gen. Brawner, in his command conference with the RCPA leadership, said that the development of the Army reserve force is among his key priorities. He also lauded the RCPA leadership for implementing key programs that are aligned with his command guidance “SERVE.”
 
The Army Chief has vowed to provide ample support for reserve units and to improve the facilities of Regional Community Defense Groups and Community Defense Centers to bolster their mission accomplishment. “We also need to streamline our recruitment process so that we can recruit more quality reservists,” the Army Chief stressed.
 
“Rest assured that your Headquarters Philippine Army is here to serve you. We will support you in all of your endeavors,” Lt. Gen. Brawner concluded.
 
RCPA Commander Maj. Gen. Fernando V. Felipe led the arrival honors for Lt. Gen. Brawner whose visit was also highlighted by the traditional “Talk to Troops.”
