Two RCPA line units move up in AGP ladder

The two-line units of the Reserve Command Philippine Army (RCPA) received new Army Governance Pathway (AGP) citations in a conferment ceremony presided by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. during his visit to the RCPA headquarters in Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite on May 27, 2022.

The Army Chief pinned the “Compliant Status” medallion on the plaques of the 7th Regional Community Defense Group and the RCPA Headquarters and Headquarters Service Battalion.

The AGP follows four stages (Initiated, Compliant, Proficient, and Institutionalized) that aim to drive results, reward performance, and institutionalize the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) in the organization. The ATR, meanwhile, is an 18-year transformation and governance program geared at transforming PA into a credible, reliable, responsive, more capable, and professional organization committed to its mandate of serving the people and securing the land.

Lt. Gen. Brawner lauded said units for their dedication to contributing to the realization of the Philippine Army’s vision of becoming a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028.
