Army reservists deliver supplies to Taal volcano victims

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA), through 401st Community Defense Center (CDC) and 402CDC of the 4th Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG) distributed aid and school supplies for children who were displaced by the most recent eruption of Taal in Barangay Banyaga, Agoncillo, Batangas last May 29, 2022.

RCPA through 401CDC and 402CDC of the 4th RCDG, distributed 722 food packs; 1,847 hygiene kits; and 1,300 school supply packs for the displaced children. It can be recalled that the most recent eruption of Taal last March 26, 2022 prompted the evacuation of around 600 families from at least six villages in Agoncillo and Laurel towns in Batangas.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., lauded Army reservists for their benevolent act to help the displaced families as they gradually return to their normal lives.

“Rest assured that your Headquarters Philippine Army is here to serve you. We will support you in all of your endeavors,” the CGPA said in his recent visit at headquarters RCPA.
