Army holds motorcycle riding safety seminar

The Philippine Army, through its Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG), kicked-off a Motorcycle Riding Safety Seminar aimed to raise road safety awareness and responsible motorcycle riding starting June 8, 2022 at Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
The Motorcycle Riding Safety Seminar, facilitated by the Headquarters and Headquarters Service Battalion, caters around 1,200 soldiers . The said participants came from the different offices and units of the Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio. They were divided into six batches that will be done in two days for each batch.
 
The said seminar will be given in a combine theoretical and practical exercises that was geared to reduce and eliminate the risks of motorcycle accidents as well as promote safe and defensive riding habits.
 
HHSG Chief of Staff Col. Ivan V. San Jose, in his keynote remarks, said that the safety seminar is in line with Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr.’s desire to cultivate a "culture of safety” within the organization.
