FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - Five Army runners dominated their respective categories at the PNP Special Action Force (SAF) Crusaders Commando109 Challenge held in Greenfield City, Laguna on June 11, 2022.
Five Army runners emerged as champions in their respective categories: Sergeant Aris O. Africa in the 10-kilometer male category; Corporal Eric S. Panique in the 21-kilometer male category; Corporal Jho-an B. Villarma in the 21-kilometer female category; Corporal Macrose M. Dichoso in the 5-kilometer female category; and Private First Class Albert D. Valencia in the 5-kilometer male category. Meanwhile, Corporal Jobert S. Carolino finished first runner-up in the 10-kilometer male category.
The Army leadership lauded the PA Athletics Team for their winning streak in international and local running competitions. The Army Chief has called on the Army athletes to focus on honing their skills and talents so they may bring honor and glory not just to the organization but to the country as well. #
