Philippine Army table tennis players ruled the 21st Filipino-Chinese Friendship Day Table Tennis Tournament hosted by the Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. in Binondo, Manila on June 12, 2022
The tournament, which is one of the activities in line with the celebration of the 47th anniversary of Philippine-China diplomatic ties, saw the action of four participating teams. The Philippine Air Force team emerged as the first runner-up while the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office team and the Filipino-Chinese team shared the second runner-up spot.
Special Service Center Director Col. John Oliver F. Gabun lauded the Army table tennis players for showing their ping-pong prowess in the said competition. The SSC Chief called on Army athletes to continuously hone their skills to sustain their winning momentum.
