SFR(A) trains more Army paratroopers

The Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) is set to train 105 officers and 6 enlisted personnel (EP) as future paratroopers with the opening of the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) Class 133-2022 at the regiment’s headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on June 14, 2022.
 
Bulk of the class is composed of new 2nd Lieutenants who are members of the Philippine Military Academy “Bagsik-Diwa” Class of 2022 while the six enlisted personnel came from SFR(A), Light Reaction Regiment and 7th Infantry Division. The course will be catered by Air Operations Branch of the Special Forces School and will culminate on July 8, 2022.
 
SFR(A) Commander Col. Ferdinand B. Napuli challenged the future paratroopers to complete the requirements of the course with flying colors. In his keynote remarks, Col. Napuli highlighted the importance of discipline and safety as emphasize in every aspect of the course.
 
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., give emphasis in his command guidance the need to enhance the skills and capabilities of individual soldiers and unit capabilities through the conduct of regular training exercises.
