Team Army wins big in 2022 Independence Day Duathlon

Team Army reaped two gold medals and three podium finishes in the 2022 Independence Day Duathlon in Lipa, Batangas last June 12, 2022.
 
The Army’s triathlon and cycling teams bagged two gold medals with the victory of Staff Sergeant Reynaldo Navarro in the Open Elite (35-39 years old bracket) and Corporal Kenneth Lacuesta in the Open Elite (30-34 years old bracket). Three other Army athletes also clinched three silver medals in their respective categories: Technical Sergeant Allan Pasamonte Racines in the Open Elite (30-34 years old bracket), Sergeant Lord Anthony Del Rosario in the Open Elite (30-34 years old bracket), and Private First Class Robinson Esteves in the Open Elite (45-49 years old bracket).
