Soldiers, civilian personnel donate blood to save lives

Soldiers and civilian personnel donated bags of blood in a bloodletting drive at the Army General Hospital on June 15, 2022 in connection with the upcoming 61st founding anniversary of the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.

The bloodletting program aims to supplement the supply of blood bank of DOH-administered Rizal Medical Center in Pasig City.

The blood-letting drive showed the dedication and commitment of soldiers to serve the people and save lives not just through combat operations but through a multitude of other ways as well, AGH Sergeant Major Senior Master Sergeant Edgardo E. Labro said in an interview.

Meanwhile, the HHSG will mark its 61st year of rendering dedicated support to the Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) on July 1, 2022.
