PA holds 7th Civilian Leader’s Summit Conference

The Philippine Army's held its 7th Civilian Leader’s Summit Conference aimed at upgrading the managerial and leadership skills of civilian supervisors who serve as the organization’s “institutional memory” at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on June 17, 2022.
 
Philippine Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1, Col. Ramon P. Flores, in his keynote speech, highlighted the crucial role of civilian supervisors in the attainment of the organization’s thrusts and vision. “You are our indispensable partner in attaining our goal to become a world-class Army by 2028,” Col. Flores said in his keynote speech. Col. Flores also called on civilian supervisors to work with the Army leadership to strive for the betterment of the organization.
 
The 7th edition of the said conference is anchored on the theme “Bridging Leadership and Upskilling the Workforce: A Response to Emerging Trends in Human Resource Management.”
 
Resource persons from different Philippine Army Major Units and Headquarters Philippine Army offices discussed emerging trends in the Armed Forces of the Philippines human resource management, mental health and well-being trends in 2022, the Philippine Army Information System Strategic Plan, the Philippine Army Civilian Human Resource Information Management System, Philippine Army civilian organization updates, and the 2022 Philippine Army Personnel Satisfaction Survey.
