CGPA vows continued professionalization of Army civilian human resource

The Philippine Army is committed to pursue the professionalization of its civilian human resource through the conduct of continuous leadership and training courses, Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., said during the closing ceremony of the Civilian Human Resource Basic Civilian Course 49-2022 at the Training and Doctrine Command, Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on June 21, 2022.
 
The Army Chief, in his keynote speech, highlighted the crucial role of the civilian human resource who serve as the organization's permanent workforce. “We are professionalizing our civilian human resource by offering courses and ,of course, by making sure that you are promoted,” Lt. Gen. Brawner said, vowing to implement a merit-based promotion system within the organization.
 
The CGPA also talked on the crucial role of the Army’s civilian workforce in attaining the Army’s goal to become a world-class ground force that is a source of national pride by 2028.
 
A total of 32 Army civilian human resource from different Philippine Army Major Units and Headquarters Philippine Army offices completed the said course handled by TRADOC’s Sustainment Center.
 
Meanwhile, Ms. Letty Edith G. Lacanienta, Chief Civilian Human Resource of the Philippine Army, told the CHRB CL 49-22 to take every learning and training opportunity to further equip themselves with skills and knowledge. “Just continue on developing yourself, study and avail the training and seminars offered by the organization,” the Army’s Chief CHR said.
