FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army's Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) marked its 61st founding anniversary in a ceremony graced by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on July 1, 2022.
Lt. Gen. Brawner, in his keynote address, lauded the HHSG under the helm of Brig. Gen. Rosalio G. Pompa for “judiciously facilitating and supervising the Army’s command activities and ensuring the efficient and effective management of the Army’s Headquarters’ regular operations.” The Army Chief likewise commended HHSG for expanding its functions to the national level, as exemplified by its deployment of personnel to help secure the May 2022 national and local polls and its support to the national government’s Covid-19 pandemic efforts.
“To the men and women of HHSG, may your theme, ‘HHSG@61: Kagalingan Sa Paglilingkod' reinvigorate you to exemplify your brand of excellent customer service as you assist and enable the Headquarters Philippine Army to serve with their best,” Lt. Gen. Brawner remarked.
The HHSG is the unit that primarily provides administrative, security, ceremonial services, support command activities, and service support functions to Headquarters Philippine Army. #
