The Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., welcomed Royal Thai Army (RTA) Deputy Director-General for Operations Maj. Gen. Thongchai Rodyoi who is in the country for the 7th PA-RTA Steering Group Meeting on July 5, 2022 at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
Philippine Army (PA) is currently hosting the three-day 7th PA-RTA Steering Group Meeting. Aside from updating bilateral activities for the year, representatives from both armies are also planning for bilateral activities next year.
The CGPA and Royal Thai Army Attaché to Jakarta Senior Col. Kittisak Petchnoi discussed the strengthening of bilateral military education and training and updating the Terms of Reference between the two armies at the sidelines of the 2022 Asian Defense and Security Conference and Exhibit in Pasay City on April 2022.
