Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., lauded the Aviation “Hiraya” Regiment for serving as the Army’s reliable aviation unit during its 3rd activation anniversary celebration on July 5, 2022 at the TIKAS Hangar, Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
Lt. Gen. Brawner, Jr., who served as the anniversary celebration’s guest of honor and speaker, lauded the Army aviators for fulfilling a multitude of ground support missions as he vowed to look for ways to procure additional air assets for the regiment. This year's activation anniversary of the Army's aviation unit is anchored on the theme “Three Years of Soaring Commitment and Integrity – Transforming Challenges Into Opportunities."
The Army Chief likewise commended the regiment, under the helm of Col. Andre B. Santos, for launching the first-ever air ambulance of the Philippine Army on March 2022.
“While you secure the land and our country’s territorial sovereignty, I urge you to continue to train and equip our future Hiraya aviators to help ensure the Army’s definite victory over the enemy,” the Army Chief remarked. #
