Philippine Army gears for JPMRC 2022 Training

The Philippine Army (PA), through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training (G8) headed by Col. Arsenio Sadural, held a research skills development and doctrine writing workshop from July 5 to 7, 2022 in Tagaytay City to further hone the skills of the Army delegation that will take part in the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) training later this year.

The three-day activity further molded the data gathering, results presentation, and technical writing skills of the Army delegation tasked in the development of combined arms training, opposing forces, observer-controller and trainer Manuals. The activity featured PA and the U.S. Army doctrine writing experts who provided insights and advice to delegates.

The Philippine Army is set to take part in the month-long JPMRC training in Hawaii later this year. The said multilateral training is geared at enhancing unit readiness, inter-operability, and validating warfighting systems of participating forces, in view of the challenging jungle environments of the Indo-Pacific region.

Deputy G8 of the Philippine Army Col. Emmanuel Cabasan — who delivered the keynote speech on behalf of Col. Arsenio Sadural, G8, PA — reminded the PA delegation of their crucial role in the development of doctrine that will underpin the creation of the Philippine Army’s Combat Readiness Training Areas.
