Army’s Office of the Chief Dental Surgeon lauded on 65th founding anniversary

The Philippine Army’s Office of the Chief Dental Surgeon (OCDS) marked its 65th founding anniversary on July 7, 2022 at the Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila with Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group Commander Brig. Gen. Rosalio G. Pompa lauding the office for bringing dental health services closer to troops deployed in far-flung areas.

“You have exerted further extra effort to deliver dental services closer to troop concentration areas, especially those in the far-flung areas. Most of the soldiers assigned therein had neither the time nor the luxury to worry about their oral health," Brig. Gen. Pompa said in his keynote remarks. "You have provided them with much-needed oral healthcare services; but most importantly, you reminded them that the Philippine Army is always there to support them wherever they are,” he added.

Brig. Gen. Pompa likewise commended OCDS, under the helm of Col. Rosedo B. Pasicolan, for striving to make Army dental facilities more efficient, responsive, and capable in delivering quality dental care to troops.

The OCDS is commemorating its 65th founding anniversary anchored on the theme “Dental Service, Philippine Army: 65 Years of Synergy in Efficiency Towards Mission Capable Dental Units and Fit-to-Serve Philippine Army Personnel.”
