FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - Army athletes bagged two medals in the 1st Rise Mountainbike (MTB) Challenge that saw the action of nearly 500 mountain bikers in Naga City Sports Complex, Camarines Sur on July 9, 2022.
Staff Sergeant Alvin A. Benosa topped the Elite Category while Team Army placed second in the Team Trials Category finishing behind champion Go For Gold Team. A total of 461 mountainbikers from Bicol, Southern Tagalog, Central Luzon, and Metro Manila participated in the 1st Rise MTB Challenge.
Special Service Center Director Col. John Oliver F. Ganun lauded the Team Army for excellently representing the organization in the first-ever Rise MTB Challenge.
