Acting Deputy for Office of the Army Chief Ethical Standards and Public Accountability assumes post (2)

The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training (OG8, PA), inspected on July 13, 2022 the facilities and systems of the 4th Infantry Division Training School in Malaybalay, Bukidnon to ensure that the institution molds recruits into well-equipped, well-disciplined and well-trained troops.

The inspection team, led by Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training Col. Emmanuel L. Cabasan, facilitates the conduct of the Candidate Soldier Quality Assurance Oversight Inspection to ensure the quality of training of Army recruits. The inspection looks into six key parts of a military training institution: curriculum, faculty, instruction, management, resources, and students or stakeholders.

It can be noted that the 4th Infantry Division training school recently unveiled a mock-heli tower designed to train recruits in a spectrum of helicopter operations, particularly on Fast Rope Insertion and Extraction System (FRIES), casualty evacuation, and humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) missions.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., laid out in his command guidance his thrust to push-down resources to all Army units and to enhance the skills of soldiers, including Army recruits.
