Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Sergeant Major First Chief Master Sergeant (FCMS) Rogelio O. Obillo visited the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on July 19, 2022 to check on the morale and welfare of troops and to cascade the thrusts of the AFP leadership.
In his “Talk to Troops”, FCMS Obillo, who was accompanied by Army Command Sergeant Major, Chief Master Sergeant (CMS) Rogelio P. Caacbay, tackled relevant policies on military career advancement and shared insights on ensuring a smooth transition back to civilian life post-retirement. FCMS Obillo also discussed the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Corps' crucial role as the military’s organizational backbone.
The HPA visit of the AFP’s most senior enlisted member is also highlighted by a courtesy call on Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr.
