The Philippine Army’s First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) and the Indonesian Army’s (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat) Komando Cadangan Strategis Angkatan Darat (Kostrad) wrapped up the ten-day Indonesia-Philippine Training Activity 2022 (TA DOLPHINE EXERCISE XIV-22) in West Java, Indonesia on July 22, 2022.
FSRR Commander Brig. Gen. Freddie T. Dela Cruz graced the closing ceremony of the bilateral training exercises which focused on the exchange of information, tactics, technics and procedures in the conduct of counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations. The said exercises were held at the Taipur Military Camp, Cilodong and Sangga Buana Training Site, Karawang, West Java, Indonesia.
The Philippine and Indonesian teams conducted staff exchange on a spectrum of military operations and bilateral exercises on Tactical Combat Casualty and Close-Quarter Battle.
It can be recalled that the FSSR and Kostrad held TA DOLPHINE XIII-2021 via video teleconferencing in November last year due to pandemic restrictions. Last year's iteration of the exercise between the two armies focused on urban and jungle warfare special operations.
