Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers inches closer to PVL Invitational semis

The Philippine Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers inched closer to barging into the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference semifinals round after eliminating Cherry Tiggo Crossovers in their match at the FilOil EcoOil Center in San Juan City on July 26, 2022.
 
Player of the Game high-scoring setter Ivy Perez steered the Lady Troopers with 17 excellent sets and six points while Sergeant Jovelyn Gonzaga anchored the Lady Troopers’ offense and defense against the hapless Crossovers.
 
The Lady Troopers, which is now holding a 3-2 win-loss record, will face reigning champions Creamline for their last eliminations round game scheduled on July 30, 2022.
 
Special Service Center Director Col. John Oliver F. Gabun lauded the Lady Troopers for their dedication to enter the PVL semifinals round that will see the action of foreign volleyball teams. “Sustain your winning momentum. Your hard work, grit and will to win will propel you to victory,” the SSC Chief said.
