Army reservists help rescue Cavite bridge collapse victims

Army reservists of the 402nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion under 402nd Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA) conducted a three-day search, rescue and retrieval operations on the Imus River following the collapse of an old steel bridge in Sitio Talisayan, Barangay Sampaloc IV, Dasmariñas City, Cavite from July 26 to 28, 2022.
Reservists hand in hand with government responders, Philippine Red Cross, and volunteers rescued five teenagers and retrieved the bodies of eight teenagers who were pinned down on the riverbed by the rubble of the collapsed bridge.
