Army reservists launch HADR efforts for South Cotabato flood victims

Army reservists from the 1204th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion of the 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command Philippine Army launched Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) efforts for families affected by flashfloods in Barangay Esperanza, Koronadal City, South Cotabato on July 28, 2022.
 
Army reservists and other government responders evacuated affected families to safer grounds following the floods that swamped low-lying villages of the city.
 
Army reservists have been participating in various HADR efforts for calamity and accident victims nationwide. The Army leadership has vowed to further develop and strengthen its reserve force that acts as effective force multipliers to soldiers in times of national emergencies, wars, rebellion, or invasion.
