The Philippine Army delegation, led by the Assistant Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, G9, Philippine Army Col. Jaime R. Datuin, took part in the high-level senior staff exchange with the Guam National Guard at the Barrigada Readiness Center, Guam on August 6, 2022.
One of the highlights of the activity is the medical and dental readiness demonstration of the Guam National Guard on August 6, 2022. The demo showcased techniques and practices that could be adopted by the Philippine military during reservists' mobilization.
The week-long senior staff exchange, slated from August 3 to August 10, 2022, is part of the Guam-Philippines State Partnership Program geared at strengthening bilateral ties between the Guam National Guard and AFP. The exchange is anchored on the Guam-Philippines State Partnership Program that prioritizes reserve force development —including Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs—through subject matter expert exchange and bilateral training.
