PA civilian workforce kick-offs month-long 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration

The Philippine Army’s civilian human resource kicked off the month-long celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with an early morning Zumba session and fun walk at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on September 6, 2022.

The activity was led by the Army’s chief civilian human resource Mrs. Letty Edith G. Lacanienta who has been serving the organization for more than 38 years. This year’s celebration of CSC Month is anchored on the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”

“Our civilian employees are valuable members of the organization. They are the key to the continuity of our past, current and future endeavors,” Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., said in his recent meeting with the leadership of the Philippine Army Civilian Personnel Association. “Throughout the years, the role of the Philippine Army Civilian Human Resource continues to become dynamic —from providing administrative support to becoming active participants in our institutional transformation,” he added.
