Army installs new Chief of Ordnance and Chemical Service

The Philippine Army installed a new Army Chief Ordnance and Chemical Services (ACOCS) in an assumption ceremony presided by Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on September 7, 2022.
 
Colonel Jesus Jeffrey F. Grapa assumed as the new Army Chief Ordnance and Chemical Services, succeeding outgoing ACOCS Colonel Fernando B. Dulawan who led the office in an acting capacity for nearly a month.
 
Colonel Grapa has more than three decades of work experience in Army logistics. He served as commander of the Logistics Support Group of the Army Support Command (ASCOM) prior to his designation as the new chief of the Office of the Army Chief Ordnance and Chemical Services.
 
Colonel Grapa belongs to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Tanglaw-Diwa” Class of 1992. He holds three Master’s degrees: Management Studies in Logistics and Management Studies in Business Program Management both from the University of New South Wales in Australia and Public Management from the Development Academy of the Philippines.
 
Meanwhile, Colonel Dulawan will return to his previous post as deputy chief of OACOCS.
“To Colonel Grapa, I am looking forward to working with you regarding our goal of implementing a more responsive and meticulous logistics management to maximize our budget allocation for ordnance and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) response materiel,” Maj. Gen. Capulong said in the assumption ceremony.
