Vice Commander, Philippine Army (VCPA) Maj. Gen. Camilo Z. Ligayo, graced the closing ceremony of the Infantry Orientation Course "Magsiklab" Class 03-2022 (INFOC CL-03-2022) which is composed of 254 Privates at the Makabulos Grandstand, Camp O’ Donnell, Capas, Tarlac on September 29, 2022.
“To the members of the Infantry Orientation Course 03-2022, you have indeed proven that you are worthy soldiers and great citizens of this country by successfully overcoming the rigors of this regimented military training course,” the VCPA told the newly graduated Privates.
Maj. Gen. Ligayo also reiterated that the sacrifice and hard work they are putting in their service are their sworn duty to the country and the Filipinos nationwide.
The VCPA emphasized to “Magsiklab” Class the two main tasks of the Philippine Army which are “serving the people” and “securing the land”. Maj. Gen. Ligayo ended his remarks by reminding the soldiers to continually inculcate the values of discipline, obedience, and followership wherever they would be deployed.
