The First Scout Ranger Regiment joined hands with Bulacan-based volunteer groups to aid Karding-hit sitios that are predominantly settled by Dumagat families in Doña Remedios Trinidad town in Bulacan on October 2, 2022.
Scout Rangers and other volunteers distributed essential items to Karding-affected families in Sitio Cabiao and Sitio Kamatis, two of the far-flung sitios of the upland barangay of Kalawakan.
It can be recalled Philippine Army Major Units in Central Luzon, Metro Manila and Southern Luzon deployed disaster response teams that saved lives amid the onslaught of Super Typhoon "Karding" on September 25, 2022.
