Army Sergeant Major visits home of Scout Rangers

Philippine Army Sergeant Major Chief Master Sergeant (CMS) Rogelio P. Caacbay visited the home of the Scout Rangers in Camp Pablo Tecson, San Miguel, Bulacan on October 4, 2022 to update troops on command policies and to speak before newly minted soldiers who recently hurdled the six-month Basic Military Training at the Scout Ranger School.

CMS Caacbay, in his keynote speech during the closing ceremony of Candidate Soldier Course Class 744-2022, told the new soldiers that their Scout Ranger School training has equipped them with a solid foundation for their respective military careers.

The ASM then proceeded to the traditional “Talk to Troops” wherein he reiterated the “SERVE” command guidance of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., that is anchored on servant leadership principles.

He also discussed Department of National Defense Circular No. 21. The new circular serves as the updated Implementing Rules and Regulations for Republic Act (RA) No. 11709 which seeks to promote the continuity of policies and modernization initiatives of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
