Army Civ HR makes health and wellness program more inclusive through Zumba dance

The Civilian Human Resource of the Philippine Army launched its first health and wellness program through a Zumba dance at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila on October 4, 2022.
 
The Zumba Dance will be conducted every first Tuesday of the month to maintain and improve the well-being of the Civ HRs through proper exercise for reduction of stress and prevention of illnesses. The Army Chief Civilian Human Resource Ms. Letty Edith G. Lacanienta said that the CHRs would be delivering a wellness program to promote the positive workplace behavior, reduce absenteeism, and improve productivity in the office.
 
Ms. Lacanienta also emphasized that the CHRs would be involved along with the military personnel in promoting healthy and disease-free body. The Health and Wellness Program is introduced by the Civilian Personnel Management Branch of the Philippine Army Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel to contribute to an engaged workforce and organization inside the military camp.
