The Philippine Army formally welcomes the 230 members of the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) Class 56 "Ikarigatak" 2022 as it hosted a reception dinner for this incoming Army 2nd Lieutenants at Kastelo Verde, Capas, Tarlac on October 12, 2022.
The command intended to formally receive and welcome the officer candidates who will be graduating on October 20, 2022 at Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, after their one year of rigorous training and molding them to become technically and tactically proficient Army military officers.
The reception delegation was led by Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong who congratulated the officer candidates on surpassing the challenges, sleepless nights, and tiring days of the training.
Recognizing that the occasion coincided with the awaited graduation, Maj. Gen. Capulong also underscored that being a leader requires strong character and discipline, especially in the Army.
