The Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., joined the 55th Engineer “Mobilizer” Brigade (55EBde) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker on marking its 24th Founding Anniversary at the 55EBde Headquarters, Brgy. Ma. Cristina, Balo-i, Lanao del Norte on October 13, 2022.
Anchored on its theme, “55EBde Dalawampu’t Apat na Taon na Kaagapay ng Mamamayan Patungo sa Bagong Kinabukasan”, the command awarded military individuals, battalions, and companies for their excellence, strong cooperation in carrying out development projects and providing combat support to the troops for the sustainment of gains to the community.
Lt. Gen. Brawner lauded the 55EBde, Local Government Units, stakeholders, and partners on more than two decades of engineer support, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), and socio-economic development programs to the Philippine Army sub-units as well as the national government’s flagship ventures. “The exemplary work of the Mobilizer Brigade and its stakeholders have come so far and we are seeing the results, especially the rapid decline of the local communist armed conflict. As part of the Army, let us sustain our winning momentum,” the CGPA ended.
