The Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., visited the 303rd Infantry "Brown Eagle" Brigade of the 3rd Infantry "Spearhead" Division to commend the excellence of the brigade on October 13, 2022 at Camp Major Nelson L. Gerona, Brgy. Minovan, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The visit highlighted the accomplishments and efforts that the brigade rendered to bring lasting peace to the entire Western Visayas region and the province of Negros Oriental.
“All members of society were involved to finally defeat communism in the country. Let us continue our goal to end the local armed conflict so, by end of this year, communism and terrorism will be insignificant," the Army chief said.
Lt. Gen. Brawner also conferred streamers and medals to outstanding personnel for their remarkable achievement in dedicating themselves to their call of duty as peacemakers and protectors of the people.
