International military students explore Marawi Liberation Anniversary exhibit

The Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training together with the Office of the International Military Affairs (OIMA), Philippine Army gave the nine International Military Students (IMS) a guided tour of the 5th Marawi Liberation Anniversary exhibit on October 17, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army Grandstand, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
The IMS were given the opportunity to have a quick tour of the Marawi Liberation Anniversary exhibit as part of their historical trip highlighting the geography, demography, culture, and various heritage sites in the country. The nine IMS are from Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and Cambodia taking military courses programmed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines such as AFP CGSC, Basic Airborne Course, Jumpmaster Course, and Basic Officer Leader Course.
In a remark, the Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., emphasize the utmost importance of remembering the heroism of the soldiers, law enforcers, and civilians who paid the ultimate sacrifice in liberating Marawi City.
