Army chief visits six injured Army troops in vehicle mishap

The Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., visited the six injured Army troops involved in a recent KM450 vehicular accident at the Camp Elias Angeles Station Hospital, Brgy. San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur on October 21, 2022.
 
The six injured soldiers who belonged to the 2nd Infantry “Second to None” Battalion (2IB) under the 9th Infantry “Spear” Division (9ID), received financial assistance from the Philippine Army. The Army chief commended the courage and resiliency of the injured soldiers who are recovering in the division’s medical facility.
 
It can be recalled that 14 Army personnel got into an unfortunate accident after their KM450 military vehicle crashed into a cement truck mixer and flipped over in Masbate last October 16, 2022, which caused the death of eight Army soldiers.
 
Likewise, the Army chief reaffirms his commitment to ensure the welfare of soldiers, the Army’s most important resource.
