RESCOM Commander renders exit call on CGPA

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army Commander Maj. Gen. Fernando V. Felipe rendered an exit call on Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., on October 26, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
The CGPA lauded Maj. Gen. Felipe for leading the Reserve Command to greater heights such as playing a significant role in relief and rescue efforts during calamities and national emergencies. Lt. Gen. Brawner also recognized the role of reservists in nation-building by bolstering the country’s defense readiness posture in Regional Community Defense Groups and Community Defense Centers.
 
Maj. Gen. Felipe is set to bow out of service on November 5, 2022, after more than 34 years of military service.
 
Maj. Gen. Felipe was commissioned in 1988 through Republic Act 2334. Before being assigned to RESCOM, Maj. Gen. Felipe was the Commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Munitions Control Center. Maj. Gen. Felipe also held various key positions such as Chief of Office of Ethical Standards and Public Accountability, AFP Procurement Service; Commanding Officer of the 4th Forward Service Support Unit, Army Support Command; and Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics of the 2nd Infantry Division.
