Hawaii multinational exercise kicks off in high gear

The 91st Brigade Reconnaissance Company (91BRC) of the 1st Brigade Combat Team participated in the final mission briefing that kicked off the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Rotation 23-01 into high gear on October 28, 2022, at the Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.
 
2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (2IBCT) Commander Lt. Col. David Forsha of the U.S. Army's 25th Infantry Division issued the operational order (OPORD) that laid out the unit mission and the commander's intent to subordinate units and the 91BRC Commanding Officer 1st Lieutenant Junrey Bordado. It can be noted, that the 91BRC is integrated with the 2IBCT during the exercise.
 
Meanwhile, 1st Lieutenant Bordado led the company's final mission planning that laid the direction for drills scheduled on the East Range and other areas in Oahu. Philippine Army head of delegation Col. Emmanuel L. Cabasan and the Exercise Directorate joined the 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade's Manuever Advisor Team during the 91BRC mission brief.
 
Philippine Army troops are taking part in training activities across the Hawaiian archipelago with the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division, joint components of the U.S. Armed Forces, and armies of partner nations.
