The 42 personnel of the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON) led by Col. William Victorino F. Upano and five Headquarters Philippine Army observers led by Col. Xerxes A. Trinidad, who will join the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Armies Rifle Meet (AARM), arrived on November 3, 2022, at National Military Training Center 4, Hanoi, Vietnam.
The People’s Army of Vietnam will host this year’s 30th AARM from November 3-12, 2022. The annual event is established to foster professional goodwill, cooperation, and friendly competition between neighboring Asian countries.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. sent his well wishes to the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent and reminded them to demonstrate values of integrity, professionalism, and sportsmanship with the ASEAN Army counterparts.
