The Philippine Army designated Vice Commander Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Adonis R. Bajao as the chairperson of the Philippine Army Board of Senior Officers (PABSO) in an oath-taking ceremony on November 3, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
The PABSO is a board consisting of general officers who assist the Commanding General, Philippine Army in the selection of candidates for designation to Officers (colonel-rank) Positions of Primary Responsibility (OPPR), Masters in National Security Administration (MNSA) or Senior Executive Course on National Security (SECNS), and confirmation of officers holding battalion command and equivalent positions.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. reminded the senior officers to put the right person at the right job and should serve the best interest of the command, “I encourage all members of the board to continue working hard for the Philippine Army”.
