Army Vice Chief attends the official opening of the 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet in Vietnam

The Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Adonis R. Bajao attended the Opening Ceremony of the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) held in National Military Training Center 4, Hanoi, Vietnam on November 6, 2022.
 
The Vice Chiefs of the Armies and other senior military officials of the participating contingents graced the event in support to their respective shooters. The Chief of Staff of the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command Col. Gulliver L. Señires and Combined Arms Center Director Col. Jose Arn M. Real accompanied the Army Vice Commander during the Opening Ceremony of the 30th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet.
 
Army Vice Chief Maj. Gen. Bajao relayed the well wishes of the Army Chief Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. to our Army shooters. He further inspired the shooters to give their best in this friendly competition as they represent the Philippine Army, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, as well as the entire country.
 
Contingent Commander Col. William Victorino F. Upano led the 42 Philippine Army Shooting Contingent who will participate in five pistol and rifle matches on the succeeding days. Head of Philippine Army Observer, Col. Xerxes A. Trinidad, led the five-man team to observe the event in preparation for the Army’s hosting of the AARM in the Philippines on 2024.
 
The 30th AARM 2022 is anchored on the theme, “One Vision, One Identity, One Community” to strengthen good relations, friendly competition, cooperation, and development among ASEAN countries.
Participating ASEAN countries on this event are the following: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
