Army, stakeholders sustain relief operations in STS “Paeng” affected communities

The Philippine Army provided manpower and logistics assistance for the joint humanitarian relief operations of the Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) Foundation Inc., and the People’s Republic of China to the victims of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng on November 7, 2022 at the provinces of Laguna and Batangas.
 
The Army deployed its military trucks to transport 600 sacks of rice, 600 gallons of water, and relief goods to Nicolas Galvez MNHS Gymn, Brgy. San Antonio, Bay, Laguna and Calitcalit Elementary School, Brgy. Calitcalit, San Juan, Batangas.
 
Army troops in collaboration with the local government units and other stakeholders, actively participated in the distribution of relief goods to communities affected by the typhoon.
 
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., assured that the Army is always willing to extend its help especially during humanitarian assistance and disaster-response (HADR) missions for the victims of Typhoon Paeng which left a big devastation in the country.
