VISCOM Commander renders exit call to CGPA

The Visayas Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines Commander Lt. Gen. Robert C. Dauz rendered an exit call to the Commanding General, Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., on November 7, 2022, at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
The CGPA commended Lt. Gen. Dauz for steering the Visayas Command to greater heights such as the successful anti-insurgency campaign, clearing of focus areas, dismantling of guerilla fronts, and neutralizing enemy vertical formations. Lt. Gen. Brawner also lauded the VISCOM chief for establishing a mini-library that serves as a learning hub for the residents in the hinterlands of Danao City and actively providing disaster-response in their areas of responsibility.
 
Lt. Gen. Dauz is set to bow out of service on November 14, 2022, after more than 38 years of military service.
 
Lt. Gen. Dauz is a member of PMA “Maringal” Class of 1988. Before being assigned to VISCOM, Lt. Gen. Dauz was the Vice Commander of the Headquarters Philippine Army. Lt. Gen Dauz also took key positions such as Commander of Armor Division; Commander of Mechanized Infantry Division; and Commanding Officer of Joint Task Force Talakudong.
