Philippine Army delegation joins Hawaii Veterans’ Day celebration

The Philippine Army delegation to the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Exercise received a warm welcome from the Filipino community in Hawaii which hosted a sports festival to mark Veterans’ Day on November 12, 2022.
 
The Philippine Army head of delegation Col. Emmanuel L. Cabasan, in his welcome remarks, conveyed his gratitude to the Filipino community for organizing the sports festival that featured basketball, volleyball and parlor games that saw the participation of Philippine Army soldiers and U.S. Army soldiers of Filipino descent. Veterans' Day is a federal holiday in the United States to honor the service of current and retired servicemen.
 
The Philippine Army has sent a 103-strong delegation that took part in the month-long Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Exercise, enhanced interoperability and strengthened the partnership between Filipino and U.S. soldiers.
