Army co-chairs with USARPAC in the 11th Steering Committee Meeting

The Philippine Army co-chaired the 11th Steering Committee Meeting hosted by the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) on November 16-17, 2022 via Microsoft Teams at Philippine Army Officers' Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
 
Assistant Chief of Staff for Plans Col. Benjamin L. Leander, Office of the International Military Affairs (OIMA) and the General Staff officers, together with USARPAC Director of the Security Cooperation Division Col. Thomas Scott, joined the virtual activity which serves as a venue and planning platform for the Philippine Army-US Army Pacific future activities. US Army Attaché to the Philippines, Col. Eldridge R. Singleton, also physically attended the meeting together with the Joint US Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG)-Philippines and liaison officers from USARPAC.
 
The 11th SCM discussed the administrative and substantive requirements for the annual 11th Executive Steering Group (ESG) Meeting which will be co-chaired by the Commanding Generals of the Philippine Army and USARPAC in March 2023. The meeting also deliberated important plenary discussions such as Agreed-to-Actions Review, SALAKNIB 2024-2025 Concept Brief, Significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCI), PA-USARPAC Construction Goals, and the 5-yr Bilateral Engagement Strategy.
