Army Vice Chief Maj. Gen. Bajao expressed his high regard to all the reservist commanders for their responsive engagement during the call of duty. He also uplifted the morale of the leaders to continue harnessing the spirit of volunteerism, “With that, I encourage all the Reserve Unit Commanders to take this opportunity to positively and responsively contribute to the improvement of our total force. Sometimes, we must learn from our adversaries. As our Army Reserve Force leaders, you have an active role in nation-building. And as commanders of our Ready Reserve Units, your role is to motivate, be a role model, and an inspiration to everyone,” the Vice chief said.

The two-day conference was attended by reservist commanders from various Ready Reserve Units in Luzon and Visayas regions who shared their best practices and developed operational frameworks on reserve force capabilities. The Reservist Commanders’ Convention gathers inputs from the different reservist commanders to help improve the Reserve Force Development programs and to formulate a management strategy for addressing the growing challenges in the Philippine Army.
