The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Army Gender and Development (OAGAD), concluded the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) in a ceremony on December 6, 2022 at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
In a ceremony presided over by Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Adonis R. Bajao, OAGAD shared the highlights of the campaign and gave appreciation to the Subject-Matter Experts and participants who joined the activities.
Maj. Gen. Bajao also expressed his gratitude to the Army personnel for their active support in the campaign.
“May our participation, not only in this campaign but also in our life-long commitment to fight the pervasive effects of VAW, serve as a reminder for us to always uphold our ethical duties as professional and disciplined servant-soldiers in the organization,” said Maj. Gen. Bajao in his remarks.
